Most devices are small, light, waterproof and able to be installed or placed almost anywhere. They are self powered, most with a 10 year replaceable battery. All devices have battery condition monitoring. 

A powered radio gateway device is placed in range of the sensors (outside <1 km, indoors 2-300m) which consolidates the radio sensor traffic and relays the data via an internet connection (broadband or 4/5G) to an application service where the data is presented to an application on your mobile device, tablet or computer.

This sensor system is very reliable (99.9 availability/24x7/365).  All sensors communicate via radio frequency bursts with a gateway sited near the clients internet connection.  Sensors are powered by very long life batteries.  Battery condition is monitored continually. The powerful radio signals persist over significant distance and penetrate many walls and structures.  The sensor data is transmitted every 20 minutes  and a full audit record of readings is reported in a selection of standard reports.  Data logging is available on many sensors to fulfill cold chain recording.
